The following information is meant to be shared at your meeting. Delegates serve as your meeting’s representative for all business concerning intergroup and providing this information to your meeting.
If your meeting does not have a Delegate, we encourage you to elect someone. The Delegates Meeting is held on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:30 AM on Zoom.

Update on Merger
We’re grateful and excited to share that, by group conscience, the Los Angeles Intergroup has voted to merge with the San Fernando Valley Intergroup. As Tradition Two reminds us, “…there is but one ultimate authority — a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience.” We lean into that promise; knowing that when we seek guidance together, we are always led forward in the right direction.
This merger isn’t meant to breathe new life into our intergroups—we’ve already come up for air. But perhaps, as a Fellowship, we’re being invited to breathe more deeply into what’s possible: to trust more fully in each other, to reach further, and to discover all that OA can offer—together.
These changes will be gradual and handled with due diligence with the help of our intergroup boards, our office manager and it's members. More to come.

The Intergroup requests that all meetings confirm their meeting contact is current and and up-to-date. All meeting updates can be made directly on our website by signing in.
When making donations please use our secure system through the website rather than donating directly via venmo or paypal. Please note after filling out your information you will be taken to the page finalize payment.

Upcoming Special Events
As a courtesy if you would like to get a reminder a couple days before one of our events simply go the event on our website and RSVP. This does not obligate you to anything. It's just for your own convenience.
We will be celebrating our annual Thanksgiving in the Park on thanksgiving morning at Cheviot Hills Park at Motor and Pico from 9am to 11am PST. There will be three Speakers sharing gratitude for their OA program. Many volunteers are needed. Please reach out to Leo at events@oalaig.org. We always have a great time and free coffee is served!

66th OA Birthday Party
Register now for Eternal Sunshine of the Recovering Mind, the 66th OA Birthday Party, January 16-18 at the LAX Hilton! The largest fundraiser for the Los Angeles Intergroup
Early Bird registration is $60 with Ticket prices increasing to $70 on Dec 1.
We encourage everyone to take advantage of our Registration and Recordings bundle for $99.99. You will get all the recordings with digital handouts from the entire weekend.
Registration does not include the keynote meals, prize drawings, or swag and must be purchased separately after registering.

There is still time to do a second pass of the basket at your meeting and donate funds to support the prize drawing.
We are collecting gently used and new clothes, shoes, and accessories. Please be mindful of the items being donated and their condition. If you have items to donate, please contact Roanne M. at bdpboutique@oalaig.org.
