Dear Fellows,

Welcome to the 66th OA Birthday Party. This year’s theme, Eternal Sunshine of the Recovering Mind, reflects the Los Angeles roots that shaped OA—drawing on the city’s spirit of storytelling, imagination, and renewal. Our theme feels familiar—but transformed—much like we are through this fellowship.

Every year we gather to celebrate the birth of OA — the moment a handful of people said, “There has to be another way.” But we also gather to celebrate the sunlight we’ve come to recognize in each other.

This year’s schedule was built with that spirit in mind.

It’s familiar enough to feel like home, and new enough to open something inside us. Light-hearted in places, deeply spiritual in others.

Rooted in OA’s principles, aligned with our Unity With Diversity commitment, and designed to welcome every fellow who walks through the door.

As you explore the schedule, notice what draws your attention. Notice the rooms where you feel curious, hopeful, or even a little uncomfortable.

Those are often the places where the sunlight gets in.

We’re grateful you’re here. Your presence adds to the warmth, the laughter, the honesty, and the shared purpose that make this weekend what it is. Together, we don’t simply carry the message — we are the message.

Sometimes just a glimmer, sometimes a steady glow, and eventually, for many of us, an eternal sunshine.
