"There are no dues or fees for members; we are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations."
-OA Preamble
Our 7th Tradition
In Overeaters Anonymous, we are guided by the 7th Tradition: “Every OA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” This principle allows our fellowship to remain free from outside influence and ensures that we are sustained solely by the voluntary support of our members. Through this shared responsibility, we honor both our independence and our commitment to carrying the message of recovery to those who still suffer.

Supporting Our Fellowship
Your contributions make it possible for the Los Angeles Intergroup to continue its work—providing meeting resources, hosting events like the OA Birthday Party, maintaining our website, and supporting outreach to newcomers. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us carry the message of recovery and keep the doors open for the next person who seeks help. If you would like to contribute, please [insert link or button here] to make a secure donation. Together, we keep OA thriving.
