Go to the Add Event page and enter your event information. When finished, click Add Event at the bottom of the page.
Your event will be submitted for approval, but not added to the calendar immediately. Please allow 3-5 business days for us to process your event. Once processed, your event will appear in the calendar.
Important: When adding an event, please make sure to give us a valid e\mail address where we can contact you (it will not be used for anything else). We will need this to ensure your event will be published.
See below for help with adding events.
How to Add an Event
When you go to the editor that you will use to enter events (JCE Editor), it's easy to feel overwhelmed because there are a lot of buttons on the screen.
Don't Panic
For the most part, these buttons are there to be used by those who wish to use them and to be ignored by those who choose to ignore them. If you wish to format your event in a more fancy way, you certainly can. Either use the Help button at the top of the group of buttons (the blue question mark) or look at the button reference at the bottom of this page.
Uploading Flyers
If you want to upload a flyer to use in your event, you'll need to understand a little more. In your Event text, type in something like "Click here to see flyer". Highlight this text and then press the Insert/Edit file button .
This screen will appear:

Above the right hand pane, you'll see this icon: (to the left of the help button). This is the upload button. When you press this, you get another window:

If you press the 'Add' button, you'll get a dialog box that will allow you to navigate through your computer to locate the flyer you wish to upload it. Then, in the first window shown above, you'll be able to choose the newly uploaded flyer from the list. Click the name of the flyer to insert it as a link in your event text. (You'll be asked if you want to substitute the file name for the text, but you'll probably want to keep your "Click here for flyer" text.)
Important note: If you want to publicize your event well, you'll want to use a PDF (Adobe Acrobat document). This is the most widely used and compatible format for document reading and can be read by virtually anyone regardless of whether they're using a Windows, Mac or Linux operating system.
If you do not have a PDF writer, you can download a free one available for public use - CutePDF*. This software works just like having another printer, only instead of sending the file to your printer, it 'prints' to a PDF file. (*LAIG neither endorses nor is affiliated with CutePDF, but provides this information as a service to its members.)
Editor Buttons
Below is a reference guide for the editor buttons. Some of these buttons may not appear in the editor.
